This Privacy Policy explains what information Frayted ("we," "us," "our") collects, how we use it, and your choices. By using Frayted, you agree to this policy.

1. Information We Collect

Information you give us:

• Account info: name, email, phone number
• Business/authority info: company name, MC#, DOT#, insurance carrier, policy number, coverage amount
• Vehicle and cost profile: vehicle type, MPG, fuel cost, insurance/payment/maintenance costs, working days/miles
• Load data: pickup/delivery locations, miles, rate, broker name, and other details you enter to score a load

Information collected automatically:

• Basic usage data (pages visited, features used, device/browser type) to help us improve the App
• We do not use tracking for advertising purposes and do not sell your data to advertisers

Payment information:

We do not collect or store your full card details. Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd, our merchant of record. Paddle collects and handles your payment information under its own Privacy Policy.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Calculate your cost profile and score loads
• Pre-fill booking and counter-offer emails
• Operate, maintain, and improve the App
• Communicate with you about your account, billing, and product updates
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. How We Share Information

We share information only with:

• Service providers who help us run Frayted (e.g., Supabase for hosting/database, Paddle for payment processing, Brevo for email communications), under their own confidentiality and data protection obligations
• Legal authorities, if required by law, subpoena, or to protect our rights or the safety of others
• A successor business, if Frayted is acquired or merges with another company, subject to the same or a more protective privacy policy

4. Data Retention

We keep your account and load data for as long as your account is active, plus a reasonable period afterward for legal, tax, and backup purposes. You can request deletion of your data at any time (see Section 6).

5. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No system is 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security of data transmitted to or from the App.

6. Your Rights and Choices

You can:

• Access, update, or correct your profile information directly in the App
• Request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account by emailing [email protected]
• Unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in those emails (this does not affect transactional emails like billing receipts)

If you're located in the EU/UK or California, you may have additional rights under GDPR or the CCPA, including the right to data portability and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Contact us to exercise these rights.

7. Children's Privacy

Frayted is intended for business use by adult owner-operators. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We'll post the updated version here with a new "Last updated" date.
